“Where is God?”
🕉️ The Inner Journey through the Mahavakyas
(Realizing the Four Great Declarations of the Upanishads)
A seeker once sat by the silent river under the silver moonlight.
The breeze was still, and so was his mind.
From the depths of that stillness, a single question arose —
> “Where is God?”
And from within that very silence,
a voice — deep, serene, eternal — began to speak.
Four whispers emerged from the heart of consciousness,
each revealing a secret door to the Self.
🌿 The First Whisper – “Tat Tvam Asi” (That Thou Art)
> “Seek not God outside, for you are That,”
said the voice within.
The seeker looked around —
the flowing river, the stars, the trees — everything shimmered with one life.
He breathed, and the universe breathed with him.
He closed his eyes and felt the same current moving inside and outside.
Then realization dawned:
> “The world is not apart from me — Tat Tvam Asi — I am That.”
🌸 The Second Whisper – “Aham Brahmasmi” (I Am Brahman)
As the night deepened, thought grew still.
Only the sense of “I am” remained — pure, without shape or name.
There was no boundary between “I” and “everything.”
A luminous truth rose from the heart:
> “You do not know Brahman — you are Brahman.
That which says ‘I am’ is the Infinite Itself.”
And in that moment, the seeker felt not the weight of the world,
but the weightless expanse of Being.
> Aham Brahmasmi — I am Brahman.
🌼 The Third Whisper – “Prajñānam Brahma” (Consciousness Is Brahman)
Then all forms faded — sounds, stars, the wind, even time.
What remained was Awareness alone —
silent, self-shining, infinite.
He saw that the seer and the seen were one,
that everything arose and dissolved in the ocean of consciousness.
> “This Consciousness, untouched by change,
is Brahman itself — Prajñānam Brahma.”
The seeker smiled — the universe was a wave,
and he, the ocean beneath.
🌺 The Fourth Whisper – “Ayam Ātmā Brahma” (This Self Is Brahman)
Finally, there was nothing left to hear.
Silence itself became the teacher.
A deep stillness enveloped him —
no mind, no world, no seeker.
The voice now whispered from beyond thought:
> “This very Self — the witness of all — is Brahman.
Be still and know that Thou art That.”
Breath stopped, yet life flowed.
Words ceased, yet understanding shone.
The seeker vanished — only Light remained.
💫 Realization
> “Tat Tvam Asi” — You are That.
“Aham Brahmasmi” — I am Brahman.
“Prajñānam Brahma” — Consciousness is the Absolute.
“Ayam Ātmā Brahma” — This Self is Brahman.
The four whispers became one —
a single hum of existence, a single pulse of peace.
God was not found —
God was revealed as the Self.
🌸 Essence
> “The seeker asked, ‘Where is God?’
The silence replied, ‘You are That.’
The river, the stars, the heart — all merged into one knowing.
And in that knowing, only Brahman remained.”
💫 this story — “The Inner Journey through the Mahavakyas” —
is now perfectly complete in both Telugu and English,
radiating the same serene Advaitic wisdom.
