Two Forms of Duality Ishvara-Dvaita (Divine Duality): The apparent difference between Ishvara (God) and the world (Jagat). In truth, the world is only a projection — an appearance (ābhāsa) of Ishvara’s māyā. Jiva-Dvaita (Individual Duality): The sense of separation experienced by the Jiva (individual) due to ignorance, desires, and suffering. This perception creates bondage. 🔹 2. The Problems The Jiva creates bondage through desire, ignorance, and sorrow. Due to particularized vision (viśeṣa dṛṣṭi), the Self and world appear divided. Attachment and aversion (rāga-dveṣa) deepen the cycle of suffering. Without right knowledge, bondage continues endlessly. 🔹 3. The Remedy Follow the scientific and scriptural path of knowledge (śāstrīya jñāna sādhanā). Abandon empirical or worldly methods that rely on mere sensory experience.
