Bhagavatpāda establishes this with absolute clarity: > Paramātman has only two — Sat and Chit. Sat — Existence Chit — Consciousness / Awareness These are not attributes added to Brahman. They are Brahman’s very nature. If they were attributes, Brahman would become saguṇa.
