✨Karma Sannyasa — Stillness in Action✨

(Essence of the Bhagavad Gita)

Misconception about Sannyasa

Sannyasa does not mean:

Renouncing work

Running away to the forest

Wearing orange robes


True Sannyasa = Renouncing the ego “I am the doer.”
Work continues.
But the ownership of the action disappears.

✅ What actually changes?

→ The doer changes
→ The vision changes
→ The binding result drops away

Gita says:

> “You have the right only to action, never to the fruits.”
— Karmaṇy-evādhikāras te

🔹Analogy 1️⃣: The Pen & The Writer

Body–mind = pen
Ishwara (Consciousness) = writer

The pen moves, but the writer writes.

> “Ishwara is acting through this body.”
That attitude = Yoga

🔹Analogy 2️⃣: Electricity & Devices

Electricity runs:

the bulb,

the fan,

the fridge…


Yet none of these are the power.
They only express the power.

Likewise: Consciousness → expresses as all actions
Body–mind are instruments only.

🔹Analogy 3️⃣: The Movie Screen

World = changing movie
Experiences = scenes
Body–mind = characters
But…

The Self is the unmoving screen.

Stories change,
but the screen never does.

One Core Rule

Wherever experience happens, see the threefold sign of the Self:

✅ Existence (Asti)
✅ Awareness (Bhāti)
✅ Fullness/Bliss (Priyam)

Meaning:

> “Everything is only an appearance of the one Consciousness.”

When this vision is clear:

Sin doesn’t bind

Merit doesn’t bind

Karma doesn’t follow

Rebirth ends

Who is a Karma Sannyasi?

✘ One who avoids work
✘ One who merely stays silent

✔ One who acts without ego
✔ One who sees the Self in all

From the Gita:

> “Yoga is skill in action.”
— Yogah karmasu kaushalam

Skill = Acting without I & mine

🕉 వేదాంత పంచదశి — 2వ అధ్యాయం : మాయావివేకం (పంచభూత వివేకం) రచయిత: శ్రీ విద్యారణ్య స్వామి ఉపన్యాసం: శ్రీ వై.యస్.ఆర్. గారు 1. నేపథ్యం 1వ అధ్యాయం (తత్వ వివేకం)లో మనస్సు–ఆత్మ వివేచన. ఇప్పుడు 2వ అధ్యాయం (మాయావివేకం)లో: పంచభూతాలు (ఆకాశం, వాయువు, తేజస్సు, జలం, పృథివి) వాటి గుణాలు (శబ్ద, స్పర్శ, రూప, రస, గంధం) అవి మన ఇంద్రియాలతో సంబంధం పెట్టుకొని మనను సంసారంలో బంధిస్తాయి. దీన్ని అర్థం చేసుకున్న తర్వాతే కోశ వివేకం (3వ అధ్యాయం), ద్వైత వివేకం (4వ అధ్యాయం) మొదలవుతాయి. 2. శ్లోక ప్రస్తావన “సదద్వైతం శ్రుతం యత్ తత్ పంచభూత వివేకతః। బోద్ధుం శక్యం తతో భూత పంచకం బ్రవివిచ్యతే॥” అర్థం: ఇంతవరకు మీరు విన్నది సచ్చిదానందాత్మకమైన అద్వైత సత్యం. కానీ దాన్ని బలంగా పట్టుకోవాలంటే పంచభూతాలను వివేచన చేసి తెలుసుకోవాలి. అందుకే ఇప్పుడు పంచభూతాలను వివరంగా చెబుతున్నాను. 3. పంచభూతాలు — గుణాలు 1. ఆకాశం → గుణం: శబ్దం (ధ్వని, ప్రతిధ్వని) 2. వాయువు → గుణం: శబ్దం + స్పర్శ (వీస్తున్న గాలి, చలనం) 3. తేజస్సు (అగ్ని) → గుణం: శబ్దం + స్పర్శ + రూపం (కాంతి, వేడి) 4. జలం → గుణం: శబ్దం + స్పర్శ + రూపం + రసం (చల్లదనం, తీపి రుచి, పారదర్శకత్...

శివరాత్రి సందర్భంగా శ్రీ వైయస్సార్ ప్రసంగం

శివతత్వం – అద్వైతం నోట్స్  1. మరణం యొక్క అసలు అర్థం సాధారణంగా మరణం అంటే శరీరాంతం అని అనుకుంటాం. కానీ వాస్తవంలో ప్రతి క్షణం మార్పే మరణం. ఆలోచన పోతే → కొత్త ఆలోచన వస్తుంది → పాతది మరణించింది. బాల్యం పోయి → యవ్వనం వచ్చింది → బాల్యం మరణించింది. జాగ్రత్త, స్వప్నం, సుషుప్తి – ఇవన్నీ చక్రంలా మారుతూ ఉంటాయి. కాబట్టి "మరణం" అనేది అంతిమ సంఘటన కాదు; ప్రతి క్షణం జరిగే మార్పు. 2. శవం – శివం శవం: చలనం లేని, అవగాహన లేని దేహం. శివం: చైతన్యం, అమృతత్వం, మోక్షం. మనం శవం (మారిపోతున్న దేహం, భావాలు) పట్టుకుంటే నశ్వరమే. మనం శివం (చైతన్యం, జ్ఞానం) పట్టుకుంటే అమృతత్వమే. 3. మార్కండేయ మహర్షి సంకేతం ఆయన అనుభవంలో "శివలింగం" అంటే నిరుపాధిక స్వరూపం (Pure Consciousness). దానిని ఆశ్రయించిన వాడు మరణాన్ని జయిస్తాడు. కథ చారిత్రకమా అనే ప్రశ్న కాదు – అది ఒక సంకేతం. 4. బౌద్ధం – శూన్యం vs అద్వైతం – సాక్షి బౌద్ధులు: "ప్రతి క్షణం క్షణికం, చివరికి శూన్యం" అన్నారు. అద్వైతం: "శూన్యం ఉన్నట్టు తెలిసేది ఎవరు?" అని ప్రశ్నించింది. సమాధానం: సాక్షి (జ్ఞానం) ఎప్పుడూ ఉంది. 5. అద్వైత దృష్టిలో శివతత్వం...

శ్రీకృష్ణుడు గోపికల వస్త్రాపహరణం అనే లీలా చాలా లోతైనది — ఇది సాధారణ కథ కాదు, అది అద్వైత తత్త్వం (Advaita Vedanta) యొక్క గొప్ప రహస్యం చెప్పే దైవ నాటకం. ఇప్పుడు దీన్ని అద్వైతార్థంగా — తాత్త్వికంగా  🪔 లీలా యొక్క బాహ్య అర్థం: గోపికలు యమునా నదిలో స్నానం చేస్తూ వస్త్రాలను ఒడ్డుపై ఉంచారు. శ్రీకృష్ణుడు ఆ వస్త్రాలను తీసుకొని చెట్టు మీద ఉంచి, వారిని పిలిచాడు. "మీ వస్త్రాలు కావాలంటే నా దగ్గరకు రండి" అని అన్నాడు. వారు సిగ్గుతో, వినమ్రతతో చేతులు జోడించి శ్రీకృష్ణుని ప్రార్థించారు. తరువాత ఆయన వారిని ఆశీర్వదించి వస్త్రాలను తిరిగి ఇచ్చాడు. 🌿 అంతర్ముఖ (తాత్త్విక) అర్థం: ఈ కథ జీవుని నుండి ఆత్మానుభూతికి జరిగే యాత్రను సూచిస్తుంది. ఇక్కడ ప్రతి పాత్ర, ప్రతి చర్యకు ఒక అద్వైతమైన సంకేతం ఉంది: అంశం తాత్త్విక అర్థం (Advaita) గోపికలు భక్తి మార్గంలోని జీవులు — మనం, ఆత్మజ్ఞానం కోరే సాధకులు వస్త్రాలు అవిధ్య (అజ్ఞానం) వల్ల మనం కప్పుకున్న ఉపాధులు, అహంకారం, దేహాభిమానము యమునా నది మనసు (చలించేది, భావోద్వేగములు ప్రవహించే స్థలం) స్నానం శుద్ధి — మనసు, హృదయం శుభ్రపరచడం కృష్ణుడు పరబ్రహ్మ, చైతన్య స్వరూపుడు — సాక్షి...
